We understand what it is like to live
in the dark, the burden of life
gnawing at the heart,

as we live in the sun
living life to the full, impatient
for each day to see what’s to be done

We understand what it’s like to
live in chains, as we walk
the free path-way to follow our dreams

Suicidal you say – now listen my dear,
snap out of it and get help
straight away,

We’re highly qualified we’ll do all we can,
what you must understand
there’s no magic pill,

Oh! but we understand –
